Hospitality Rides is a charity cycle event uniting individuals from the hospitality sector, to take on a challenge and support two exceptional charitable causes.
Powered by KAM, Hospitality Rides will be raising essential funds for ‘The Licensed Trade Charity’ and ‘Only A Pavement Away’ – two charities that are integral to the hospitality industry.

The LICENSED TRADE CHARITY has been providing free of charge support to licensed trade people for over 200 years. They have a website with around 60 free downloadable help sheets and a helpline that is available 24/7, 365 days a year that anyone can access whether they’ve been in the trade for 3 days or 30 years. Their helpline team offers practical advice and emotional support, and callers from the trade can even access 6 free telephone counselling sessions if they need to. For people who have been in the trade for 5 years or more the Licensed Trade Charity offers financial grants which can help with everything from the purchase of a washing machine to help with travel costs when undergoing hospital treatment and rent arrears or rent deposits. Its goal is to help people in the trade to get back on their feet.

ONLY A PAVEMENT AWAY is the national charity that supports people looking to rebuild their lives through employment opportunities in hospitality.
The charity acts as a vital bridge between forward thinking employers in the hospitality industry and referral partners working with individuals facing homelessness, and prison leavers, to help them rebuild their lives through long term, stable employment.
Only A Pavement Away helps individuals get from where they are to where they want to be through employment opportunities, financial support and tailored learning & development.
To date, the charity has placed over 850 people into work, adding an approximate value of £32M to the economy through reduced government support, financial independence, and household expenditure.
